Cody S. Pflueger is a civil litigator, specializing in insurance bad faith and property damage claims for both homeowners and businesses. Prior to joining Weisser Elazar & Kantor, PLLC, Cody spent 6 years at a prominent law firm in Miami, defending insurance companies against hundreds of lawsuits for bad faith claim handling practices and complex insurance coverage disputes. He now utilizes his extensive knowledge of insurance litigation to guide homeowners and zealously represent their best interests.
Originally from Pennsylvania (Fly Eagles Fly!), Cody graduated from Shippensburg University with Magna Cum Laude Honors, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Political Science. In 2009, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Penn State Dickinson School of Law. While in law school, Cody was a Senior Editor for the Environmental Law Review and President of Corpus Juris Society.
Cody is admitted to practice in all Florida state and appellate courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida; and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
