James devotes his practice to representing policyholders in residential and commercial property disputes. Prior to joining Weisser Elazar & Kantor, James spent three years as an Assistant Public Defender where he defended misdemeanor and felony cases in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. James zealously advocated for his clients in over a dozen jury trials and hundreds of hearings. James has conducted every stage of a jury trial and has thousands of hours of court room experience.
James received his Bachelor’s degree in the area of Political Science from Seton Hall University. He also received a Master’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University before earning his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
In his free time, James enjoys playing basketball with friends and watching the Miami Dolphins find new and interesting ways to lose football games.
